"Great stay, good location, loved the colourful paintings on the walls ! recommend !" Hostelworld.com 2013
"We really enjoyed our stay there! The hostel is very close to the city centre and to public transport. In 5 minutes you could easilly walk to the Old Square. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, you could ask at the front desk basically everything (earplugs, hairdryers, showergel ...), staff was very friendly, reception open 24hrs, internet and computers available." Hostelworld.com 2013
"Very clean, friendly & helpful staff, close to many attractions for about $20usd a nite. Would definitely stay again if in prague. As far as hostels go, the free cereal and pre-packed ham&cheese sandwiches, free lockers and towel/linen use was nice as well." Tripadvisor.com 2012
"This is not the cheapest hostel. However, in my three days there, I found the staff to be very helpful. It's a short walk from the main town square. The dorms and bathrooms are kept very tidy. Most importantly, they don't nickel and dime you. Nearly everything is included when you stay here: Sheets, towels, wifi, breakfast, earplugs, and lockers. Old Prague Hostel offers lots of discounts on tours booked through the front desk. Highly recommended." Tripadvisor.com 2012
"if you are travelling on budget and need a good place to stay. Then this is a perfect place for you.
The dorms are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful (always ready to help you with their best). The location is perfect to move around the city. Very close to the Old Town square." Tripadvisor.com 2012
"My boyfriend and i picked this hostel randomly because we had problems with our previous hostel, and it proved to be a very good decision! Location couldn't be better-it's basically two minutes walk from the old center and majority of important sights. The hostel was really clean and painted in warm colors, almost feels like home! Common room was spacey, and always full of nice people to talk to after a long day of exploring Prague's mysterious streets. Not to mention the service was awesome, they made us feel very welcome and gave us some useful tips! Definitely a good choice when you're staying in Prague." Tripadvisor.com 2012
"The hostel is situated just a few mintues away from the centre of town and you can easily walk to most sights from here. The dorm was adequate for our needs (Bed and a cupboard to lock bags away). The hostel was not too load at night times so you could get to sleep. There was a lot of leaflets available for tours etc at the fron office. The staff are also very helpful if you have any questions. Security is very good. Rooms can be locked and you require a code to get into the building. Camera also facing the entrance. The Clock tower bar crawl is well worth participating in - the organisors come to the hostel common room to pick you up. They are also very friendly and have tons of advice to hand. Great place to stay at when back packing." Gutersloh, Tripadvisor.com 2010

"I have stayed in many hostels and this was by far one of the best. Cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in, very helpful and friendly staff, great location and includes breakfast (which is always a bonus!)" Canada, Hostelworld.com 2010
"The showers were really clean, the bedding was clean and the hostel itself was kept very clean. It was nice to be provided things such as towels, ear plugs, hairdryer, etc. for free. There was plenty of space in the locker given in the room. Free breakfast was great and the staff was really nice and helpful." Canada, Hostelworld.com 2010
"All in all we both were quite impressed we loved Prague and of course the hostel thank you so much for making our stay wonderful. We also liked the entire atmosphere there were just always nice people and the all the stuff members were super helpful Thanks so much again :) " Germany, Hostelworld.com 2010
"My first and best hostel during my backpacking trip to Europe. This hostel was clean, the decor was warm, and the service was great. I was a little thrown off by the fact that there was no AC, but I soon realized that much of Prague doesn't come with it--not even McDonalds. The place comes with all the usual hostel amenities, along with free breakfast and a kitchen on every floor. The hostel is conveniently located close to the center of the town and right next to a square where a shuttle bus from the airport drops you off." Dozy, Tripadvisor.com 2010
"Excellent location, it was great to be so close to Old Town Square. Everything is within easy walking distance; the only time we had to take any type of public transportation was to go to the airport. It was also great to have such a modestly priced hostel with so much included...clean towels and sheets, free breakfast, free lockers, free computers and wifi...really nothing to complain about." U. S. Virgin Islands, Hostelworld.com
"Booked a group of 28 school children, before we arrived the staff were excellent in helping make arrangements such as rooming.
During our stay we were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation and shared areas.
The staff could not have been more helpful (especially Agi and Christina - thanks!).
We will book again for next year without any hesitation." Matt, Tripadvisor.com 2010
"LOVED staying at old prague hostel. We felt so comfortable, the rooms, the beds, the common area, the showers, evertything was great. The location was also great, just needs maybe a illuminated sign to locate the hostel at night, but that´s just a detail. Thank you for everything! silvana." Argentina, Hostelworld.com 2010
"The Hostel is cheap and in an excellent position in the Old City. it's in waliking distance to all the major sights, but also near the subway. the hostel is pretty clean, the rooms are big eneough and there are common areas were it's easy to meet people." Gianpippero, Tipadvisor.com
"The Old Prague Hostel was reasonably priced, centrally located to tourist attractions, very friendly, clean, had free internet and included breakfast. I had my own double so I didn't have to deal with noisy roommates." Kriscat, Tripadvisor.com
"Perfect place to meet people and share the trip with." Anonymous, Hostelbookers.com 2009
"Ideal location in the centre of Old Prague. Situated in a quiet side street but a few minutes walk from the centre ideal for sight seeing, clubs and generally being a tourist!" Pete, Hostelbookers.com 2009
"Old Prague Hostel: -good location, near the old town square/:mall, friendly/helpfull staff, good security, free sandwich every morning, clean bathrooms, possible to do your own cooking, good price." Hasselt, Tripadvisor.com
"If you are going to prague, this is the hostel to book! the staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms were very clean and spacious (we booked a room for 5) and included separate lockers inside the room. the only thing lacking was the breakfast (cereal with warm milk and orange juice, not too appetizing but you did get a free sandwich). but it was free so you can't ask for more. this was my first hostel experience and it set the bar very high.
it is walking distance to old town square, wenceslas square, palladium as well as many of the other main attractions and shopping spots in prague. it is also directly across the street from a police station, so it is safe as well. definitely stay here if you can!" Hbavalon, Tripadvisor.com
"This hostel is in the direct center of the beautiful Prague, we did not use a metro, tram or bus ONCE! It is very clean (the showers and toilets were cleaned very very often) and you get a personal locker for your valuable possessings. The breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly and helpful and it's cheap. We met a lot of interesting and fun people but were still able to sleep at night without any loud noises..." "Best location in Prague!!!" JACQUES, booked by Hostels.com
"I had a great experience with this hostel. It's very close to Prague's Old Town. It's a little hard to find on a side street, but that means it's quiet. The police station is directly across the straight making it very safe. There are several good restaurants nearby, but it's a quieter part of the city.
When I arrived, they couldn't find my reservation, but they gave me my own room instead plus a discount. Place was impeccably clean. Guests were social, but it's not a party hostel. Free internet was nice, although wi-fi was spotty. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all time. Breakfast is cereal and juice, but that was fine by me. Overall, a great experience. Great location, fantastic price, just what I wanted out of my stay." Coachvu, Tripadvisor.com
