RICK STEVES´ GUIDE BOOK...Old Prague Hostel, open since just 2005, is a small and very friendly place on the second and third floors of an apartment building on a back alley near the Powder Tower. The spacious rooms were once apartment bedrooms, so it feels less institutional than most hostels. The TV lounge/breakfast room was once the living room...includes breakfast, sheets, towels, and lockers...reserve ahead...

"This hostel is in the direct center of the beautiful Prague, we did not use a metro, tram or bus ONCE! It is very clean (the showers and toilets were cleaned very very often) and you get a personal locker for your valuable possessings. The breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly and helpful and it's cheap. We met a lot of interesting and fun people but were still able to sleep at night without any loud noises..."
