Old Prague Hostel reviews...
Did not expect the hostel to be so good. It is super cheap and really central, near the Old Town Square and within walking distance of lots of main attractions, bars and a metro stop.
The place has a really nice feel to it, it is bright and colourful and very clean. There are large common areas to socialise and have breakfast, which is really good and served til 10am. The rooms are basic but clean and absolutely fine for backpackers' needs. I'd definitely stay here again. Tripadvisor.com
I stayed two nights in Old Prague hostel and i happy with it. The location is very good and the reception is run 24 hours by a young&helpful gang. The rooms and bathrooms were all clean and they provide services such as towels, shower gels for free.Free breakfast and the wifi were also plus.Overall recommended. LET´S GO EASTERN EUROPE...Old Prague Hostel offers a lively atmosphere headed by an experienced staff in an unbeatable location. The dorms are bright and tidy. Added perks include free Internet, free WiFi, and on-site DVD rental...
RICK STEVES´ GUIDE BOOK...Old Prague Hostel, open since just 2005, is a small and very friendly place on the second and third floors of an apartment building on a back alley near the Powder Tower. The spacious rooms were once apartment bedrooms, so it feels less institutional than most hostels. The TV lounge/breakfast room was once the living room...includes breakfast, sheets, towels, and lockers...reserve ahead...
"Great hostel. Within walking distance to all the must-sees. Staff was so helpful and it was nice to have free internet access. We felt really safe here and would definately return. LIESL", client of Hostelworld.com 2006
"Fantastic hostel experience! Most people were English speaking, and everyone hung out together in the common room. Made lots of friends, and the place was incredibly clean. WENDY", client of Hostels.com 2006
"Best location in Prague!!!" JACQUES, booked by Hostels.com
"This hostel is in the direct center of the beautiful Prague, we did not use a metro, tram or bus ONCE! It is very clean (the showers and toilets were cleaned very very often) and you get a personal locker for your valuable possessings. The breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly and helpful and it's cheap. We met a lot of interesting and fun people but were still able to sleep at night without any loud noises..."
